This was a project funded by Heritage Lottery at the former Garrett Engineering Works. We restored a “production line” engineering shop which manufactured agricultural machinery. Working alongside museum designers Blue, the scheme revitalised the museum with a new entrance area, improved circulation and access, and a fresh interpretation of the extensive collection. A new stair and lift tower were also added in Corten steel among the improvements to the circulation.
